Thanacracy announce the official release of their debut album Tenebra Inanis

From the frozen underground of Oslo emerges one of the most uncompromising new names in extreme metal. Thanacracy, the deathcore/death metal act known for blending brutal sonic assaults with eerie symphonic elements, have officially announced the release of their first full-length album, Tenebra Inanis.

The record will be available worldwide on all major digital platforms starting October 3rd. With this release, Thanacracy deliver a suffocating, cinematic experience that combines guttural growls, anguished screams, colossal breakdowns, and haunting classical passages featuring piano, organ and strings. The result is a devastating yet atmospheric horror-opera that captures the essence of claustrophobia, despair, and void.

Ahead of the official release, Tenebra Inanis is already streaming in exclusive pre-release on Bandcamp, where fans can experience the full album before it hits other platforms.

To accompany the album, the band has unveiled the official video for “Blood as Art” on their YouTube channel. The track exemplifies the disturbing and oppressive aesthetic of Thanacracy: violent, dissonant, but also deeply cinematic, a perfect entry point into the world of Tenebra Inanis.

With their unique fusion of brutality and atmosphere, Thanacracy stand poised to carve their place in the new wave of European extreme metal. Tenebra Inanis is not just an album—it is a descent into the abyss.
